“Our company has found in CIESA’s offered services
many benefits since our arrival to México. Initially,
CIESA allowed us to start up operations immediately in a country
where we weren’t related with the legal system, logistic
and freight, accounting system, etc. making our transition quite
simple, which is translate to smaller start up expenses.
As we have known the environment, CIESA’a strength services
is framed in the flexibility of it’s Human Resources scheme,
which allow us to move according to our clients requirements.”

“Some of the reasons that GBC utilized
to make their original decision of initiating their Mexican operations
in Nuevo Laredo Industrial Park are leading the Location,
the services in the Park and the Support of the Shelter Programs offered by
CIESA. Since the beginning of this project we were impressed with the fact
that Nuevo Laredo is recognized as
the "Gateway to Mexico" and that it was the same |

continuation of major highway systems that permeated from Canada
into Mexico. This established logistical infrastructure offered
the perfect scenario for insuring both optimal timely freight
forwarding and supported capacity for future potential growth.
Regarding the facility, we wanted to initiate
operations in an Industrial Park that catered to general manufacturing
requirements and did not want to be involved with the usual problems
arising from working around or near a residential area. CIESA
offered available land space for building expansion.
GBC needed and received the initial support from CIESA via a "Shelter" Agreement
in which the operation was managed as a turn-key operation. CIESA provided all
of the support required to get GBC the necessary exposure to make their permanent
commitment to set up their own Mexican Maquiladora.” |
